A weekend in Mallorca
Thank you for traveling to celebrate with us in one of our favorite places in the world.
Mallorca has a way of slowing you down. Long lunches turn into evenings, hidden coves become all day adventures, and every winding road seems to lead to somewhere beautiful. Whether you're here for a few days or making a vacation of it, we hope you'll take the time to explore the island, soak up the Mediterranean sun, and enjoy everything it has to offer.
These are some of our favorite places, organized by area to make exploring a little easier.

Transportation
We highly recommend renting a car if you intend to explore the island. It is a BIG island and transportation public/taxi/uber is not reliable. Our advice is to travel by car to get the most out of your exploring!
Around St. Regis and Melia
5–20 minutes away
Puerto Portals
Just a few minutes from the hotel, Puerto Portals is one of Mallorca's most elegant marinas. Spend an afternoon browsing boutiques, enjoying a cocktail overlooking the yachts, or lingering over dinner by the water.

Bendinat & Illetas
A beautiful stretch of coastline perfect for a relaxing beach day close to the hotel.
Visit: Cala Comtessa, Puro Beach Club

Palma
Mallorca's capital is best explored without an itinerary. Start at the Cathedral and wander through the Old Town, discover hidden courtyards, browse local boutiques, and stop whenever a café or wine bar catches your eye.
The Southwest Coast
20–40 minutes away
Port d'Andratx
One of Mallorca's most picturesque harbors, perfect for a leisurely lunch, sunset drinks followed by dinner, or an evening walk along the marina.
Restaurants: Oliu, Rocamar. Tim's: great night cap and live music!
Sant Elm
A quiet seaside village overlooking Dragonera Island. An ideal spot for swimming, lunch by the sea, and escaping the crowds. (This is where we met!)
The Serra de Tramuntana Mountain Range
40–60 minutes away
Valldemossa
A timeless mountain village with cobblestone streets, charming cafés, and beautiful stone architecture. It's the perfect place to slow down and spend a relaxed morning.
Deià
One of Mallorca's most enchanting villages, known for its artistic spirit, breathtaking scenery, and relaxed atmosphere.

Sóller & Port de Sóller
Ride the historic tram between the town and the port, stroll the waterfront promenade, and enjoy lunch overlooking the sea.
Can Sivella Olive Oil Tasting
Looking for a hidden gem instagram hasn't found yet? Hike up Es Barranc and visit Can Sivella, run by a local couple, enjoy an aperitivo of traditional Mallorcan food and the couple's own olive oil. Jonathan and I did this last summer and it was one of our favorite experiences here in Mallorca.

The Southeast Coast
Approximately 1 hour away
Santanyí
A charming town filled with boutiques, galleries, cafés, and beautiful sandstone buildings. It's one of our favorite places to wander before heading to the coast.
Cala Mondragó
Located within Mondragó Natural Park, this protected beach is one of our favorites for its crystal clear water, soft sand, and peaceful surroundings.
Es Pontàs
One of Mallorca's most iconic natural landmarks, Es Pontàs is a dramatic limestone arch rising from the sea just outside Santanyí.
Known internationally as a world-class destination for deep water solo climbing, it's equally impressive simply to admire from the cliffs above. Sunrise and sunset are especially beautiful here.
Northern Mallorca
Approximately 1 hour 15 minutes–1 hour 30 minutes away
Pollença
One of our favorite towns on the island, Pollença is full of historic charm, beautiful stone streets, local boutiques, art galleries, and lively cafés. Spend the morning exploring before enjoying a leisurely lunch in the main square.
If you're feeling adventurous, climb the famous 365 Calvari Steps for panoramic views over the town and surrounding countryside.
Cala Sant Vicenç
Just a short drive from Pollença, Cala Sant Vicenç is a collection of peaceful coves with crystal clear water, dramatic cliffs, and excellent snorkeling.
Cap de Formentor
The drive to Cap de Formentor is one of the most scenic on the island. Winding roads lead to spectacular viewpoints overlooking Mallorca's rugged northern coastline and the Mediterranean beyond.
